The image at the top of this post represents a circle of protection around Britney Spears and all children and young people cynically exploited for their market value, whether as entertainers, soldiers or even slaves. The background design is a “witch’s knot” shaped to reflect negative energy back towards those who are casting it.
The purpose of a symbol is to focus our minds in a way that words alone can’t. The corporations are very familiar with this kind of magic. The language is different, of course. The wizards of public relations talk of brand, image and logo, not sigil, illusion and spell. But they are in your head, just the same, and they wouldn’t spend billions of dollars on this magic if it didn’t produce results.
And if you, like me, can overcome your own cynicism long enough to see what this Britney saga is really about, here is what you can do. Whenever you see those snarky blogs, the entertainment magazines or, ESPECIALLY, the “news media”, furthering the destruction of Britney Spears, leave a comment or send an email and just tell them you refuse to visit any site which mocks the mentally ill or encourages suicide.
At the same time, in those comments and on your own blogs and myspace pages, display this symbol, or one of your own design. Explain to people what it’s about. Pass the symbol along, but don’t spam anyone. We aren’t trying to create more negativity.
It’s okay not to believe in magic. Think of it as “meme warfare”. We are putting out an alternative view of reality itself. A view that says that even someone as damaged as Britney deserves life. A view that says we should be mocking and shaming not Britney Spears, but those who created her.

UFOlogists don’t like to talk about bigfoot. Cryptozoologists looking for sasquatch don’t like talking about ghosts. Ghost hunters won’t talk about UFOs. And conspiracy researchers are constantly lamenting, and rightfully so, being linked to all of the above by the media as a discrediting tactic. It’s a fair criticism (for those not wishing to taint there own activist chocolate with those other fringers’ peanut butter.)
A corollary criticism often follows that television shows and movies with wacky paranormal conspiracy subjects generally condition the public to associate those topics and issues with so much silly entertainment. And again, I generally agree with that sentiment.
But some TV shows and movies can make excellent touchstones for educating that same neophyte public about both the paranormal and parapolitical. And while our myth-making media do condition the public to pigeon-hole conspiracy claims and UFO sightings research into the molds sculpted in the image of X-Files “True Believers,” some examples from these pop-culture continuums can be turned back on themselves as vast repositories of referential material and launchpads for further exploration. These exemplary cult-classics can serve to educate instead of obfuscate. For there are many True Believers and they each have their own cliques, but there are also those watching all the various cliques - and those watchers aren’t all working for the NSA.

Due to Technical Difficulties on the part of Blog Talk Radio, the show was scrubbed at the last minute. Attempts to log into the Host’s phone line were met with their soothing British femme voice saying, “Blog Talk Radio is experiencing trouble with our system, please try again later.” Multiple attempts were met with no results. Looking through their forums indicates that other hosts were also having problems.

Recap of our last show with author / researcher Greg Bishop. Greg investigated the case of Paul Bennewitz who was disinformed by his “friends”, AFOSI agent Richard Doty and UFO researcher Bill Moore. This disinformation campaign not only drove Bennewitz over the edge psychologically, but also influenced the next two decades of UFO research and public myth/culture. Strangely, compared to our other shows, this episode seems to have not been heard / listened to by many folks. This despite having received many emails praising the info-packed show. Consider all of this in light of the Page Boy Scandal from 1989.**
I thought we also might talk about this recent article (The PROMIS of 9/11 and beyond) and it’s connection to The Octopus - Secret Government and the Death of Danny Casolaro by Kenn Thomas and Jim Keith. The article also cites the work of Michael Ruppert and his book Crossing the Rubicon whose index cites PROMIS over 15 times.
Or what about the recent rash of School Shootings and Lockdowns where The Copycat Effect is obviously at work. Could it be yet another example of the Hegelian Dialectic or Problem-Reaction-Solution paradigm? What with Resident Bush convening a School Violence Summit in the wake of the shootings. This is another reason I want to have Loren Coleman on the show. Besides his CryptoZoologist credentials, he is also an expert on Suicidology, the Copycat Effect and a student of Parapolitics.

Museum Wants “Bodies” Exhibit to Stop
Operators of a museum in Seattle featuring U.F.O. and Bigfoot displays and ghost tours have asked that a touring exhibition of cadavers be halted.
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - After four decades of bending spoons, halting clocks, reading minds, and penning metaphysical thrillers, Uri Geller is seeking a paranormal protege.
A reality television show being produced in Israel, where Geller grew up, will feature 10 contestants vying for the title of “heir” to the world-famous celebrity psychic.
“The format will be something like ‘American Idol’. We will keep the performances that are most riveting and amazing,” Geller told Reuters on Wednesday, adding that viewers with “intuitive powers” will also be invited to call in and compete.

Mark Foley, we know, had been the co-chair of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children, which was formed to provide federal assistance to the National Center of the same name. Its Board of Directors includes Floridian cocaine smuggler Hank Asher who founded the corporation which purged his state’s voter rolls in 2000. In 2003 he was hired to help identify potential terrorists for Florida’s Department of Law Enforcement. (”This has been highly controversial, largely because of Asher’s alleged past links to drug smuggling.”) Foley himself played a leading role in suppressing the hand recount. So what are such men with such histories, and in such a state as Florida, doing orbiting about the issue of missing and exploited children?

Last night’s show was unscripted and very FUN! Friend and co-conspirator Craig York called in and we began discussing Cryptozoology and anomalous animal behaviors in the news. We discussed the increase in public awareness of cryptozoology and the media’s playing up of animal news stories. We careened across continents discussing Central Texas cougar sightings, giant insect nests, Indian elephant rampages and rice beer (1998/99 and 2005/06), psychotic American raccoon gangs, manic monkeys, Texas Bigfoot & Ghost-Lights and much more!
Mack White called in and added to the discussion, starting the rampaging elephants thread and speaking of North Texas cougar sightings. Eventually my friend Jimmy called to chime in about Central Texas cougar sightings and by the end of the show we finally had our first “unknown” caller, Carlos, in the last five minutes of the show, inquiring about the conjunction of Bigfoot and UFO reports which we had briefly touched upon earlier. We mentioned local researchers such as Rob Riggs and more well known writers such as Jerome Clark and Loren Coleman who, once upon a time, wrote books connecting these two subjects.
